Web Designer

We are looking for a web designer who is able to quickly interpret business needs and client briefs and turn them into compelling brand experiences. Reporting directly to the Chief Experience Officer & Creative Director, the successful candidate will possess both conceptual and production capabilities, and excel at working under tight deadlines on multiple projects across a number of accounts. They must be an effective communicator, especially when it comes to relaying creative concepts internally and externally. The successful candidate will work with us at our Richardson, TX headquarters.

  • Distill abstract business concepts and client needs into elegant solutions
  • Effectively communicate interaction and design specifications to the development/technology team for implementation, and verify that the final build is consistent with those specifications
  • Pitch ideas confidently and present concepts to clients and internal stakeholders, as well as communicate in the same manner to members of the design team.
  • Ensure that all of the organization’s or client’s output/visuals are consistent with the overall brand.
  • Lead multiple design projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas.
  • A degree in graphic, experience design, or web development, or equivalent professional experience.
  • One or more years of experience as a creative and UX designer. Preference will be given to candidates who have agency experience.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and content management systems. Special consideration will be given to candidates that have experience with WordPress and/or HubSpot CMS. Front end development capabilities are a major plus.
  • Experience with developing and presenting design artifacts including wireframes, sitemaps, low and high fidelity prototypes, and comps.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite applications, including XD, Illustrator, inDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Ability to work with clients and internal stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and determine a plan to ensure they are met or exceeded.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to clearly and effectively communicate the creative vision, concepts, ideas, and solutions to stakeholders, internal teams, and clients.
  • Ability to synthesize abstract ideas into concrete designs and prototypes, and ensure that the finished product is consistent with the guidance provided to the technical team.
  • Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.
  • Be open to providing and receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
